Green Day – Demolicious – This special edition release features 18 unreleased demo recordings from the Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos! and Green Day ¡Tré! sessions at Jingletown Studios in Oakland. Demolicious includes one previously unreleased song "State of Shock" and an acoustic version of "Stay the Night." It's now available for the 1st time on red or clear vinyl, CD, or cassette………yes, cassette.
The Allman Brothers: Selections from: Play All Night: Live at the Beacon Theatre 1992 – Now, I'm not a southern rock fan really, BUT when the mood does strike me to hear some, I lean towards the Allman Brothers. This features a bunch of Allman Brothers songs I dig on, plus from a 'cool/collector' point of view, it just seems like something I need to have in my collection.
Bastille – Of the Night picture disc – My favorite album of 2013, it's a picture disc, and a cover (sort of) of a song that's not available on 'Bad Blood', so yes, this is HIGH on my list, so if you're in front of me this Saturday, have a heart and leave it for me ok?
Soundgarden: Superunknown: the Singles – 22 tracks, all from 'Superunknown'. This is the one I may pass on, due to price, but if there, and affordable, I may have to make a pluck and grab it
Oasis – 'Supersonic' vinyl single – Reissue of the original 'Supersonic' 12" with remastered audio, on heavyweight vinyl in original sleeve.
"Supersonic"/"Take Me Away" "I Will Believe (Live)". I wonder is the Gallagher brothers know this is even coming out, the way they've been ripping their old band in interviews lately
So, those are the ones I'm really after. There's numerous other singles and stuff, but I have to have some kind of limit as my kid kind of likes to eat and all that and Daddy can't spend everything on Record Store Day. Haven't decided where I'm going yet, whether it's Spinners or Rasputin, but I'll be up early, Monster in hand, ready to go. No pushing or shoving, we're all there for the same reason, so there. Plus, Chuck D. is this year's Record Store Day ambassador…………..that's reason to go out and support no matter where you live
