I Propose the Return of Celebrity Death Match

You know those people that you hear talk and you just wish a heaping dose of humble would fall on their head?  I think that every time I see anything involving Floyd Mayweather.  Confidence, yes.  That's healthy.  Self importance so through the roof that you actually consider yourself "The Face of MMA" when you've never  actually, you know, fought? I feel like that's a bit disrespectful of the people who get in there and actually do it.  Both are "sports" sure but soccer is a sport… how are you on the pitch Floyd?  I'm sure a lot of it is to drum up hype (and it's effective) but that doesn't make it any less stupid sounding.

On a much smaller level, that'd be something like someone who has been doing radio for 15 years in Fresno (someone I may know) publicly spouting off that she is the face of local television.  Sure both are media related but two totally different things.  And that is the only time in my life I'll ever use myself in an example with any sportsing figure, let alone Mayweather.

So can someone just hurry  up and pop this guy in the mouth and shut him up, preferably midsentence.  And if it happens to be McGregor in a boxing ring, I'm ok with watching that because Conor is pretty hot.

Click here for Mayweater talking about how he's the face of MMA and will grace fighters with a selfie.

So while we are on the topic of fighting it out… Let's pretend for a moment that Celebrity Death Match made its return.  Who would you want to see in a matchup?
