The Foo Fighters kicked off their next leg of their tour last night. As the band played, Dave Grohl proceeded to point out an audience member sporting the same makeup design on his face that Kiss bassist Gene Simmons wears.
Grohl brought the fan up and handed over his guitar. Grohl asked the audience member for his name, but when the fan didn’t respond Dave continued to call him “Kiss Guy.” Foo Fighters went on to perform “Monkey Wrench” augmented by the concertgoer in the Kiss makeup, who thankfully was an impressive guitarist. “Kiss Guy” went on to “shred a fucking lead” successfully at Grohl’s urging.
