Foo Fighters‘ Medicine at Midnight was the best-selling album of the week, landing at number one on Billboard‘s Top Album Sales chart, which measures purely traditional album sales. On the Billboard 200, Medicine at Midnight starts at number three. Medicine at Midnight is also the number-one vinyl record of the week. Medicine at Midnight, the 10th studio effort from the band, was released February 5. It includes the singles “Shame Shame” and “Waiting on a War.”
Foo Fighters have hit number one on the Billboard 200 two other times in their career, with 2011’s Wasting Light and 2017’s Concrete and Gold. Both those records also led the Top Album Sales chart.
